MANIST – The Manistee County Blue Tigers are not looking for super stars in the night sky. The group is looking for those young super stars, aged 4 to 16, who enjoy singing, dancing, reciting speeches and / or poetry, playing an instrument, doing magic tricks or whatever their heart desires.

The Manistee County Blue Tigers, which is a community outreach organization that offers scholarships, is hosting a “Little Big Shots” talent show as part of the activities of the Manistee National Forest Festival.

The first talent show was held in 2018. The group couldn’t have a show in 2020.

“Nevertheless, this year, the Little Big Shots will shine again,” read a statement.

The Little Big Shots Talent Show will take place from 1 pm to 3 pm on July 3 at Lion’s Pavilion at First Street Beach in Manistee. The group is following state COVID-19 guidelines with an outdoor event. Parents, family and friends are invited to support the performances of the young people, which also supports the funding of the group’s scholarships.

Auditions will take place via Zoom. Any young person wishing to participate should contact Shirley Madden by email [email protected] or call (231) 886-6400 to arrange auditions.
