Alison Roman’s New CNN Cooking Show Will Get a Personal Touch


Alison Roman wants to go beyond the recipe in her new cooking show on CNN+. The chef, cookbook author and food columnist has inspired home cooks to create delicious meals, despite their lack of kitchen experience or space. Roman entertains fans with this Initiated calls his style “unfiltered and charismatic”.

According to a CNN press release, episodes of her new program will show Roman in the kitchen teaching viewers the recipes she creates, then change them up by following her outside to learn more about the people, stories and the ingredients that make each dish special. Roman isn’t afraid to get personal with viewers, as she shares the encouraging and sometimes embarrassing stories behind every dish. CNN hopes to attract new subscribers with the show’s uncommon format that complements Roman’s signature style (per Variety).

The show is set to debut on the subscription streaming service in the spring of 2022.
