Everything you need to know about the Beaumont Youth Talent Show

Beaumont At-Large Council member Albert “AJ” Turner is ready to bring something “spectacular” to Beaumont’s youth – the town’s Beaumont’s Got Youth Talent Show.

“This is something that is long overdue.” said Turner. “The town of Beaumont lacks commitments for young people. All of us have our parks, what we have for our children, we have to play.”

The event will take place on October 15 at the Jefferson Theater in Beaumont located at 345 Fannin St.

“I recognize that there is a lack of visibility for our young people, and this will be a positive thing for them. This is an opportunity for our young people to show their talent in front of a large audience right here in Beaumont, Texas. ” said Turner.

The talent show will consist of 12 acts and will also have seven vendors.

There will be prizes for the first, second and third place winners. First place will receive $1000, second place will receive $500 and third place will receive $250.

“Even though we award prizes to the first, second and third place winners, every child will receive a trophy because all of our children who participate are winners.” said Turner. “The economy being what it is, it’s good to get the family out and save on costs. We control the narrative in Beaumont, the families in town control the narrative.'”

For more information on how to support or participate in the talent show, contact Turner at 409-659-0053 or follow him on social media at Albert “AJ” Turner City Council At Large on Facebook. You can also reach him by email [email protected]
