Auditions for the Fremont County Talent Show are scheduled for March 5 at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. and March 12 at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Auditions will take place at the Rialto Theater, located at 200 W. Main Street in Florence. If you can’t make those hours, call Sue at 515-290-7290. The Talent Show itself is scheduled for April 23 and 24, times to come.
Florence Farmer’s Market calls for vendors
The Florence Farmer’s Market will open for its 15th year on June 2. It will be open every Thursday morning from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in beautiful Pioneer Park and the market will continue until September 30.
The market will be made up of the same popular vendors who have supplied products for the market in the past. The market motto is “Hand Grown and Hand Made” and produce vendors will offer seasonal produce as it becomes available.

Florence Pioneer Museum Announces New Exhibit
The Florence Pioneer Museum, located at 100 E. Front St., would like to announce The Luck of Eastern Fremont County “tour and discussion” for March 12 from 4-7 p.m. They will discuss “Sunshine County”, the county that almost came to be and other Fremont County luck stories.
