Show mentors Rosemary Shrager, Ronnie Murray, Jack Stein and Judy Joo watched the reality TV star-turned-influencer grow increasingly freaked out as the countdown ticked away.

‘It’s not going as I hoped. I’m going to have to cook everything at once because I’m freaking out now,” the Irish beauty joked.

“I don’t know what I’m doing…I’m losing my mind…couldn’t be more stressed if I tried,” Maura said as she rushed into the kitchen.

Chaos continued to ensue as in an amateurish move, Maura removed a frying pan from the hob, with host Tim Allen shouting, “Well, don’t take it off the heat.”

A hilarious Maura on edge responded; “I think I have to do it, it’s smoking. If it smokes, it burns. I can’t burn it!’

Maura won’t be the only celeb to test her limits this season, with the likes of Strictly’s Anton Du Beke, Olympian Dame Kelly Holmes, This Morning’s Josie Gibson and Chaser Anne Hegerty all appearing on the show.

The show will see celebrities mentored by professional chefs, as seasoned cooks judge them anonymously on their culinary prowess.

Cooking with the Stars airs every Tuesday evening from 9 p.m. on Virgin Media One and Virgin Media Player.
