Joel McHale Hosts Celebrity Cooking Show Featuring Three DWTS Alumni

Frequent The Masked Singer guest judge Joel McHale hosts a new E! cooking contest featuring celebrities. Three of the stars competing on the show were previously contestants on Dancing with the stars.

Joel McHale hosts a new show celebrity beef

The new show, hosted by McHale, is called celebrity beef. Each episode will feature two rival celebrities competing in the kitchen to create the best dish of food. McHale will also be the judge, tasting the celebrities’ creations to decide who will take home a trophy and $10,000 to a charity of their choice.

As Heavy points out that three of the contestants appearing on the show have some experience in celebrity talent contests. They have already appeared on different seasons of the ABC show Dancing with the stars.

The DWTS the former are Andy Grammer from season 21 (who will face his friend Justin Baldoni), Nick Viall from season 24 (who will face fellow Bachelor Ben Higgins) and Nikki Bella from season 25 (who will face her twin sister Brie Bella).


The show starts in August

In the official trailer for the new competition, McHale calls it “the most important competition in television history”. The host can be seen toying with the contestants and making sarcastic remarks as they try to cook.

celebrity beef will premiere Tuesday, August 2 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on E!, and it will air the same night as the third season of Celebrity game face, hosted by Kevin Hart and his wife Eniko. In fact, at the end of the trailer, while putting his hand in a container of tomatoes, McHale says, “It’s so much better than the Kevin Hart show.”

The show will also feature I can see your voice star Cheryl Hines and former real dirty dance star Loni Love, who appeared on the FOX show Against Another celebrity beef contestant Brie Bella.
