Lip sync contest and talent show to kick off Pittsfield Fall Festival

The Pittsfield Autumn Festival will feature a lip-syncing contest during its talent show.

PITTSFIELD — The annual Pittsfield Fall Festival kicks off on Wednesday with competitions to see who has the best talent and who is the best lip-syncing artist.

Registration begins at 5 p.m. and the competition will begin at 6 p.m. There is a $10 registration fee.

The talent show will offer prizes of $100 for first place, $50 for second place and $25 for third place in the 14 and under category. Prizes for the 15+ category will be $150 for first place, $75 for second place and $50 for third place. There will also be an overall grand prize of $500.

Vendors and rides will open at 6 p.m. Thursday, with the opening ceremony at 6:30 p.m. The festival’s Junior Miss and Queen pageant will begin at 7:30 p.m.

The event continues through Sunday in downtown Pittsfield.
