BBC bosses have decided to postpone the Little Mix talent show, The Search, for at least a year after Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards welcomed their babies into the world.

Leigh-Anne, 29, gave birth to twins earlier this month, and Perrie, 28, also welcomed a child soon after.

The show at the time focused on the girl group of Perrie, Leigh-Anne, Jade Thirlwall, 28, and Jesy Nelson, 30, looking for new talent to join them on tour.

Since the end of the first season, Jesy left the group and opted for a solo career.

Little Mix: The Search first aired in September 2020 as they looked to find a band to join them on their Confetti tour in 2022.

Jesy also did not appear in the show’s final episode, with her absence announced ahead of the airing due to illness.
