Netflix has released more details on their new reality TV show which was filmed in the Lake District.
In an effort to bring more shows to the UK, Netflix is set to bring a new reality show here in the heart of Cumbria.
Snowflake Mountain is said to be a “fun and heartwarming reality TV show” that will bring a group of “ignorant kids” who are not yet living to their full potential and put them to the test in a wilderness survival retreat. to try and get them to stand on their own two feet.

Netflix describes the show as “Homecoming Camp is a rude awakening to how much pampered their lives have been so far. At stake is a transformative cash prize for the lucky winner.
“There is no running water, no parents to wait for them and, worse yet, no Wi-Fi. But, by connecting to nature, they will learn to become fully functional adults.”
The series was shot in the Lake District and has international distribution.
Netflix is trying to bring more of its shows to the UK. They explained, “The UK has a rich history of creating unscripted series that are loved the world over – from The Circle to F1: Drive to Survive – and most recently with the second season of Too Hot to Handle, which has had fans all over the world is buzzing after its premiere in June.

Yesterday (August 24) they announced three new unscripted shows from the UK, including Snowflake Mountain.
A Netflix spokesperson continued, “The lineup includes a monstrous new VFX dance competition that gives talented budding dancers a chance to perform like no one is watching them, a reality TV series that puts a bunch of youngsters who fail to get through the ordeal in a wilderness camp and dating show with a very uncomfortable twist.Get full details below.
