Paris Hilton is making her return to reality TV – this time as a chef, sort of. Earlier this month, the model announced via Instagram that her new Netflix show, Cooking with Paris, debuts August 4. This week, Netflix released a trailer for the series. Suffice to say that it promises a very entertaining show. One of the highlights of the trailer has to be when Hilton asks Siri, “What is ‘lemon peel’?”

The trailer even hints at the light-hearted nature of the show, joking that it loosely falls into the culinary category by calling it a Netflix “cooking” series. Hilton will be the executive producer for all six episodes of the series.

Netflix further describes the show, “Paris Hilton can cook … sort of. And she’s shaking up the traditional cooking show. She’s not a skilled chef and she isn’t trying to be. With Helping her famous friends, she navigates ingredients, new recipes and exotic kitchen appliances. Inspired by her viral YouTube video, Paris will take us from the grocery store to the finished spreadable table – and she might actually learn to manage in the kitchen. ”

The trailer reveals that famous friends joining Paris in the kitchen include Kim Kardashian, Demi Lovato, Saweetie, Nikki Glaser, Lele Pons, mum Kathy Hilton and her sister Nicky Hilton.

The video, also titled “Cooking With Paris,” posted on Hilton’s YouTube channel in January 2020, is referenced in the statement. She explains to viewers the process of making her “Lasagne de Paris”.

She begins the tutorial with her so-called deputy leader, a chihuahua named Diamond Baby wearing a Chanel “apron”. The video is full of her classic Parisian personality that fans love, such as when she warns viewers to “be careful” not to light their hair when using the stove. She wears satin mittens for the entire video.
