Emiliano Saccone, who co-founded the company with Sanchez in 2017, said the show’s goal was to give viewers a chance to experience the diversity and breadth of Latin cuisine while showcasing talent emerging Latino cuisines of the world.

“We see this show as an opportunity to elevate Latin cuisine – not just to focus on well-known foods, but all of Latin cuisine as a whole – while conveying the way of life and history surrounding food. and creating stories that elevate Hispanic culture,” Saccone tells new times. “It also brings Aarón back to his roots with content in his native language for a Hispanic audience. It’s like coming home, coming full circle.”

Each 30-minute episode pits two professional Hispanic chefs against each other in a series of culinary challenges to determine who deserves the accolade of Aaron’s Saber: The taste of Aaron.

In season one, Sánchez will ask the chefs – a group that includes Miami-based Dayanny de la Cruz (executive chef of Sodexo Live! at Hard Rock Stadium), Jhonny Delgado (sous-chef at B Bistro + Bakery) and Juliana Gracia (founder of Gracias Healthy Food) — to prepare two dishes with ingredients of her choice.

Sánchez, accompanied by a panel of celebrity guest judges, will assess the taste of each dish based on the chef’s modern approach to translating authenticity. At the end, the host will announce who passed the final presentation according to their tastes and standards.

“Don’t think of this show as a series of strict competitions where someone receives a financial reward. Instead, think of it as a celebration of Latin cuisine where the godfather of all things Latin cuisine picks and chooses who he considers himself an influential leader in the Latin culinary arts,” says Saccone. “The phrase is a metaphor for how every chef is capable of creating that authentic Latin taste. Each episode will serve as a testament to the evolution of Latin cuisine and how these young new chefs showcase the incredible variety of Hispanic cuisine.”
