Indian actor Tamannaah Bhatia, who was announced as the host of the popular culinary reality show MasterChef, has decided to take legal action against the show’s creators.
According to a report in ETimes, things went wrong between the actor and the host. The report suggests that after announcing her as one of the hosts on August 27, the creators cut off all communication with her.

Tamannaah’s lawyer has informed that the actor decided to go the legal route due to the non-payment of dues from MasterChef Telugu and the unprofessional conduct of the production house Innovative Film Academy. The lawyer also informed that the actor had canceled other engagements and was determined to bring the whole project to fruition.
MasterChef Telugu was established on August 27 and was judged by famous chefs Hyderbad Chalapathi Rao, Mahesh Padala and Sanjay Thumma.
Meanwhile, in a recent Forbes India poll, Tamannah Bhatia was among the Top 10 Most Influential Social Media Stars in South India.
For those who don’t know, Tamannah made her Hindi film debut with Chand Sa Roshan Chehra and appeared in the album song Abhijeet Swant Lafzon Main released in 2005. It was in 2013 when she appeared under the banner of Sajid Khan in Himmatwala. The film co-starred with Ajay Devgn in the lead role. Himmatwala was the Hindi remake of a 1983 film starring the late Sridevi.

She again collaborated with Sajid Khan for the comedy film Humshakals. The film also starred Saif Ali Khan, Esha Gupta, Bipasha Basu, Ram Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh. In 2015, Tamannaah appeared in the first part of blockbuster hit Baahubali opposite Prabhas.
In addition, the late Mehmood’s sister, Minoo Mumtaz, died in Toronto, Canada from cancer. She was over 80 years old. According to a report in Etimes, she was living in Canada with her husband Sayyed Ali Akbar, a son and 3 daughters.
