The Big Talent Show: Competitors launch first edition with breathtaking performances


Adom tvthe latest reality show, The great talent show, took off in style over the weekend. The competition saw the contestants show off their exceptional talents.

The show, hosted by Joe Shortingo, garnered many and attention on social media because of its uniqueness fused with style.

The judges, Lionel Lawson, actress Adwoa Smart and Adom tv‘Odo Ahomaso’ host Akumaa Mama Zimbi was delighted to have seen such a great performance on Sunday, October 3, 2021.

First contestant C-Nortey, as he had promised before the show, opened up with his crazy dance moves. He rose to the challenge with songs from Ga songwriter and singer King Jerry.

Paul Gee did not come to dance as many expected. He showed his talent by commenting on an imaginary football match between giant teams, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid, the best teams in Spain.

Candidate Martha took the crowd to church with her consecutive performance of popular gospel songs. Its vim and microphone control among other gadgets has made it a favorite for some of the customers.

The second dancer to take the stage that night was contestant King Solomon. The applause that reached the climax of his performance proved that he has a future in The Big Talent Show competition.

Competitor Bennet aka Shatta Wi-Fi took on Kuami Eugene Confusion song to showcase her angelic voice. Interestingly, to compliment his performance, he invited a beautiful lady on stage and sang to her to the amazement of the crowd.

Fred was the third competition of the night to choose dance as a way to take the reality competition a step further. His steps and gestures were quite distinctive from the dancers who had stepped onto the podium before him.

Contestant Size Two took a different turn with his acting prowess. His conversation as a police officer with a troubled citizen on a phone call was very entertaining. The judges praised it for its uniqueness.

Short Prophet gained enough prominence before the show when his audition video went viral. This week, he did not disappoint by performing the song “Belempe” by Bessa Simons which gained ground around 1994.

Competitor Nana Yaw showcased her traditional “Fume Fume” dance skills wearing the native attire of a fetish priest. His act seemed unusual compared to the rest. Meanwhile, ‘Fume Fume’ is a social dance originating from the Ga Adangbe people of Ghana.

There is no doubt that contestant Bernice aka Bie Gya is an excellent dancer judging by her solid performance in the first edition of the talent competition. The judges couldn’t help but nod their heads as she wowed the crowd with her incredible dancing skills.

The Kumawood Tapoli actor proved his talent as a comedian by imitating a boxer ready to fight an opponent taller than himself. His turn made many customers laugh at the top of their lungs.

Competitor Ankaa Baako took the stage to perform Kuami Eugene’s song… His style and staging were exceptional as he portrays himself as the king of music.

The one that culminated in the first edition of the Big Talent Show was Power. He decided to show off his acrobatic nature which ultimately amused a lot of people in the show. Most of the contestants were dancers, but Power was different.
