Here is the program for the Columbia County Fair and Livestock Show, which runs until Saturday evening.

TODAY

11:00 am Daily food and flower displays at the fairgrounds for judging.

5:00 p.m. Trade fair gates open on County Road 13.

6 pm-10pm Carnival open. Ride as much as you can with a $ 15 armband. $ 5 admission for non-riders.

6 p.m. Cooking contest, Jamerson Building.

6.30 p.m. Talent show, pavilion.

7:00 p.m. Junior Cattle Judging for Dairy Goats and Market Goats, Market Lambs, Registered Oxen and Commercial Heifers.

WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 22

11:00 am Daily food and flower displays at the fairgrounds for judging.

5:00 p.m. Trade fair gates open on County Road 13.

6 pm-10pm Carnival open. Ride as much as you can with a $ 20 armband. $ 5 admission for non-riders.

7:00 p.m. Junior cattle judging for breeding pigs and market pigs.

7 p.m. Dance competition, pavilion.

THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 23

5:00 p.m. Trade fair gates open on County Road 13.

6 pm-10pm Carnival open. Ride as much as you can with a $ 20 armband. $ 5 admission for non-riders.

6.30 p.m. Sale of junior cattle, barn sale.

7 p.m. Baby Miss, Toddler Miss and Tiny Miss Fair Queen contest, pavilion.

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 24

5:00 p.m. Trade fair gates open on County Road 13.

6 pm-10pm Carnival open. Ride as much as you can with a $ 20 armband. $ 5 admission for non-riders.

7 p.m. Little Miss, Petite Miss, Pre-teens and Teen Miss competition, pavilion.

10:00 p.m. Cattle release.

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 25

Before 10 a.m. and after 10 p.m., release cattle.

11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Carnival Fun Time. Ride as much as you can with a $ 15 armband.

6 p.m. Baggo tournament, pavilion.

4 pm-11pm Opening of the Carnival. Ride as much as you can with a $ 20 armband. $ 5 admission for non-riders.

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 26

Remove all exhibits between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Pick up premium checks, fair office.

Parking is free at the fairgrounds on County Road 13.

The Keith Showroom features information kiosks run by local civic organizations, businesses, political parties and others.

The Jamerson Showroom features craft exhibits.

Two separate food courts are in operation. Stalls operated by many civic groups and churches will be open along the midway carnival.
