Vogue Williams Says Conclusion of New Virgin Media Talent Show Was a ‘Pinch Me Moment’

Vogue Williams described the conclusion of their new TV show as a “pinch moment.”

The model hosted Virgin Media’s big-budget talent show ‘The Big Deal’ which is one of the flagship shows on her fall schedule.

Shot at the 3Arena, the show features the country’s aspiring stars showcasing their diverse talents in front of a panel of judges.

Boy George, Lyra, Jedward, Deirdre O’Kane and boyband star Aston Merrygold decide who will advance to the next round.

Speaking to Instagram, Vogue said, “It’s a wrap… my very first shiny floor show! It’s been a pinching moment for me since the day we started The Big Deal.

“I can’t wait for you all to see it, the talent in Ireland has been amazing. What an amazing cast and crew, made so many new friends, ah I’m just thrilled. ”

Produced by BiggerStage for Virgin Media, Fox Entertainment has signed up as a media partner, which means the format could also be used to make a US version of the program.

BiggerStage Creative Director Sean O’Riordan told Independent.ie that Fox has shown a keen interest in the new show with a view to creating its own version.

“This is produced entirely for Virgin Media Television, so this is an Irish show,” he said.

“It was designed for the Irish market so what will happen is Fox will take a look at that and broadcast it all live. What they will do is watch this show that airs in September or October and cross their fingers, everything will be okay, they will instantly commission it for their market. Then there will be an American version of this show. ”
